Our tool-less fastening technology has been specially developed for demanding industrial environments and makes the assembly/installation process simple: By eliminating the need for tools, the SNAP-LINE products can be easily inserted into sheet metal panels and enclosures.


Additionally, we provide/supply the necessary components for different cutouts and applications.

 

The fastener product range includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Fasteners for two metal sheets
  • Single or double fasteners
  • Fasteners that can be disassembled from the outside and/or the inside

Gaskets

Information on Gaskets

Ideal for enclosures and electrical cabinets, we developed a variety of gaskets and optimized them for the respective application. We offer an extensive range of gaskets, including: along with customized gaskets based on a customer’s unique application request.

Depending on a customer’s requirements, we provide gaskets made of PVC, EPDM, Neoprene, NBR, or a combination of foam rubber and PVC.

The EPDM seals by DIRAK adhere to the UL (Underwriters Laboratories) safety standards. This certification constitutes the basis for the final UL approval for the entire enclosure/cabinet.
Additionally, we produce window profile and edge protection profiles that reduce the risk of injury due to sharp edges.

Quarter-Turn

Information on Quarter-Turn

Quarter-turns can be used as a locking mechanism for numerous applications; they are comprised of a housing, insert, and cam.

 

We offer a variety of quarter-turns with unique properties, such as compression quarter-turns with vibration resistance. These quarter-turns can be ordered in a wide range of materials, including polyamide, stainless steel, or zinc die-cast. Additionally, we can provide individual components that can complement our standard quarter-turn offerings, such as customized gaskets, grounding clips, and so much more.

Other equipment variants of our quarter-turns are:

  • Over 30 standard inserts for quarter-turns 
  • Customized inserts  
  • Assembly using screws, welding or without tools
  • Versions in zinc die-cast, polyamide or stainless steel

In most applications, quarter-turns are the ideal solution to protect against unauthorized access; in some cases, we advise using both a quarter-turn and rod latch.

We offer multi-point rod latches to ensure your doors are securely closed and locked, providing you with peace of mind in the security of your enclosures. Our multi-point latches can be seamlessly integrated into various quarter-turns, swinghandles, T- handles, and L- handles and they function with both round and flat rounds.

Our multi-point latches are easy to use, flexible, and can be installed with screws or without the use of traditional hardware and tools. They are ideal for application areas that require high vibration and shock resistance and demand constant contact pressure over the entire edge length, such as:

Locks

Information on Locks

A rod latch allows for the particularly secure latching of doors by means of latches that lock in place at multiple points (multi-point locking). Our rod latch systems can be easily combined with our quarter-turns, swinghandles and T and L handles. Rod latch systems are suitable for the connection of flat or round rods.
 

As special equipment, we offer with the rod latch, among other things:

  • Mechanically or mechatronically secured swinghandles for the safe opening and closing of enclosures or electrical cabinets
  • A large number of handles – IP65, profile cylinders, padlock and others
  • Tool-free installation (DIRAK-SNAP Technology)
  • Rod latches for doors and cabinets, rod latches for cabinet doors

 

 

Swinghandles

Information on Swinghandles

In comparison with a simple quarter-turn, swinghandles offer a much higher torque. With these latches, access control to server racks can be professionally managed, for example.  

Alongside conventional swinghandles, we offer safety-tested variants of the swinghandles: with one locking cylinder or with two locking cylinders (tandem cylinders).

 

As special equipment, we offer for our swinghandles, among other things:

  • 1-point latching system, 2-point latching system and 3-point latching system
  • Mechatronically secured latches
  • Latches with locking cylinder or actuator
  • Flush-mounted and visible handle
  • Tool-free installation
