Creating balance with maximum possibilities: The new DIRAK leveling foot
01. Requirements
An uneven floor can be a challenge – for example when it comes to the precise installation of machines or furniture. If you want to compensate for unevenness with a leveling foot, there are only limited adjustment options. Different versions of a leveling foot are required to achieve a precise result. As a result, the storage locations fill up.
Our solution: With the new DIRAK leveling foot, we offer you a product that is not only functional, but also flexible in its design. The modular design makes it possible to determine the H dimension yourself by using a standard DIN 933 / ISO 4017 hexagon head screw. In addition to improved storage capacity, this innovative further development also benefits the diversity of variants with just one product.
02. product advantages
The well thought-out design of the DIRAK leveling foot allows the use of a standard DIN 933 / ISO 4017 – M8 hexagon head screw, the length of which can be freely selected as required. This option offers the particular advantage of covering all required variants with just one product, thus optimizing storage capacity.
A pioneering and new way to create balance.
- The hexagon head screw (1.), the nut (2.) and the sleeve (3.) thus create the ball joint (4.) and are simply inserted into the plate (5.) without tools and with a “click”. A generous tilt angle of ± 25° ensures horizontal compensation.
- Depending on the screw length, the height can be precisely adjusted with little effort using a conventional open-end wrench (SW13).
- The significantly larger diameter of the ball we use increases the contact surface and thus the force that the leveling foot can absorb.
- To prevent the plate from breaking, the ball is mounted in a dent. This means that the force can only act downwards and not to the sides.
- The plate of the DIRAK leveling foot can be made smaller in relation to the load. This space-saving method allows installation, assembly of the foot at the edge of the housing and is particularly advantageous for adjacent housings.
- The PA plate ensures a robust and secure stand. You can choose between two sizes to suit your requirements.
- To prevent the leveling foot from slipping, the matching anti-slip insert (6.) is supplied. It also dampens vibrations and protects the floor from abrasion.

The values given in the table are based on a pure compressive load perpendicular to the leveling foot.
The additional bending and buckling stresses that frequently occur in practice lead to a reduction in the load-bearing capacity of the screw and must be taken into account accordingly.
