Resisting pressure for a safe environment: the pressure-tight fitting and 90° Redirection
01. Requirements
If a hazardous situation arises due to overpressure, e.g. due to an internal arc, it must be ensured that a housing does not open in an uncontrolled manner and cause damage in the surrounding area. Safety, protection and functionality can only be guaranteed with resilient and reliable components.
Our solution: With the double-secured pressure-tight fitting and the space-saving 90° Redirection for flat rods, DIRAK offers a secure locking system|latching system designed for such challenges.
02. product advantages
The new pressure-tight fitting from DIRAK offers a high level of security when installed on the flat rod thanks to the use of 2 studs.
- Stud = Pre-fixing
- Stud = screwing at a 45° angle ensures the final fixation to the flat rod
The advantage:
Pre-fixing with the 1. stud enables the fitting to be positioned correctly on the flat rod. When screwing in the 2. stud screws part of the thread into the flat rod, creating the final fixation. A positive fit is created between the fitting and the flat rod.
Unintentional loosening is therefore impossible.
Determine the number of locking points according to your needs and requirements.
Due to the symmetrical design of the pressure-tight fitting, the installation, assembly of the locking bolt (3.) can be selected regardless of the direction.
Thinking around corners
The 90° Redirection for the use of flat rods can be installed even where space is limited thanks to its flat design.
The mounting option is on an M6 stud with sleeve nut (included).
Saves time
The square rod holder allows quick mounting by simply hooking in the flat rod at a 45° angle.
Locking security
The Redirection transfers the full 24 mm stroke of the rod latch. This allows the locking bolt to be inserted deep and comfortably into the frame eye or fork section and ensures secure and reliable locking.
The new 90° Redirection, in fastener with the new pressure-tight fitting, is the perfect solution for securing enclosure doors variably and reliably.
Thanks to the reduced design and the use of flat rods, installation assembly is also possible at the very edge of the door. Even large and heavy enclosure doors are locked securely and evenly.
