When used outdoors, tightness plays a decisive role in protecting package contents from moisture penetration. This also guarantees the permanent function of the fasteners themselves. This applies in particular to our mechatronic solutions. That is why our products have a high level of IP protection.

Parcel hubs are now standard, but they must be reliably protected against vandalism. Here we rely on electromechanical latches and hinges with flat, rounded superstructures. They offer no attack surface and – depending on the product variant – are even tested to protection class RC2.

UV-resistant powder coatings and clip-on profiles made of synthetic rubber – we don’t give corrosion a chance. In order to guarantee the functionality of our solutions even in poor weather conditions, we use special surface finishes and rely exclusively on high-quality materials for outdoor use.

Sophisticated design, solid workmanship and high-quality materials ensure the long service life of our solutions. For example, materials such as stainless steel or powder-coated die-cast zinc are used exclusively in the transportation and logistics sector. The robust finish also protects against vandalism.

This point is particularly important for transportation and logistics. On rails and roads, but also on ships and in airplanes, our locking solutions reliably withstand jolting movements and vibrations. This means that transport boxes remain locked just as securely as dog boxes in the cargo hold of an airplane, for example.
