Tunnels and bridges are among the most critical areas in road traffic: signaling systems, sensor technology and much more must function flawlessly and reliably to ensure safe operation. For example, speeds are adapted to the volume of traffic and warnings can be issued in the event of accidents. The same naturally also applies to signal systems on highways and other roads, which also place high demands on safety.
That’s why the installed technology must be well protected – and not just against rain, splash water, dust and dirt. Vandalism is also a relevant factor here.

They Offer four core Features:Whether on roadways due to rain or in tunnels due to splash water and generally high humidity: corrosion protection plays a major role here, as latches are exposed to permanently high levels of weathering. That’s why, in addition to high-quality materials such as Stainless Steel, we also rely on high-performance surface finishing and clip-on profiles made of synthetic rubber for our solutions.
In addition to corrosion protection, tightness must always be guaranteed. It prevents splash water, moisture or dust from penetrating the interior of LED panels, for example. By applying high contact pressure, we achieve the necessary compression for reliable protection. Thanks to flexible, precisely fitting installation methods, the solutions still offer maximum convenience when opening.
From cars to articulated lorries, thousands of vehicles pass through busy tunnels and roads every day. This inevitably leads to strong vibrations and shaking movements. For this reason, we have attached great importance to vibration and shock resistance in our product development. Many of our products therefore meet the basic and test standard DIN EN 61373.
Not only speed measurement systems, but also traffic light controls are a frequent target of vandalism. Thanks to robust material and clever design with rounded edges and flat superstructures, our solutions reliably withstand opportunist thieves. We have had these strengths certified for some products by independent auditors in accordance with resistance class RC2.
Due to the long service life of rail vehicles, the use of high-quality products with a permanently secure fastener and special protection against vibration and shock is essential.
We have therefore placed great emphasis on vibration and shock resistance in our product developments. Vibration and shock tests have shown that all tested products comply with the following basic and test standard: DIN EN 61373
