The most important features include:Production machines and systems may be subject to constant vibration, which is why protection against vibration and shaking movements is essential for the latch. We have therefore placed great emphasis on vibration and shock resistance in our product developments. Vibration and shock tests have shown that all tested products comply with the basic and test standard DIN EN 61373.
To ensure the safety of users, machines and systems must never be operated with the door open. To prevent serious consequences due to human error, for example in high-density working conditions, various latches have LED indicators that visualize both the latch status and optionally the door status.
High doors are subject to correspondingly high forces when opened. To combine security and functionality with user convenience, we offer users latching solutions with multi-point latches. The principle is simple: the operator opens and closes the door via a latch, which in turn controls several locking points simultaneously. This saves valuable time.
In harsh industrial environments, machines and systems need to be protected against dust and dirt as well as against the ingress of moisture and aggressive cleaning agents. With high IP protection classes, which we offer thanks to precise workmanship and high-quality materials, our solutions also meet these extreme requirements.
Switch cabinets are earthed so that loose cables, for example, do not lead to users receiving a life-threatening electric shock on contact. Our solutions with special earthing screws and earthing hinges can be included in this potential equalization as they create a seamless contact to the enclosure.
Our product solutions with compression offer the user a high level of convenience when opening and closing. They enable uniform contact pressure at the same time and thus ensure tightness.
High-quality technology is thus protected against the ingress of dirt, dust or water. Thanks to the possibility of installing the latches both visibly on top and completely inside, the products offer a wide range of possible applications in the areas of “interior”, “exterior” and “infrastructure”.
Due to the long service life of rail vehicles, the use of high-quality products with a permanently secure fastener and special protection against vibration and shock is essential.
