Reliable products under a wide range of conditions
Our products are used in a wide range of applications and are subject to various influences and stresses. In order to always supply you with the high-quality products you expect from us, we subject the articles and components to numerous tests during the development phase and life cycle, which, in addition to our development experience, also provide actual proof of the suitability of a product. In the “Product Validation” area, various systems and test benches are available to test products according to a wide range of aspects.
If a requirement cannot be tested using our own facilities, we have a broad network of service providers and test laboratories at our disposal to meet your specifications. True to the motto: “There’s no such thing as impossible.”
Splash Water Test Chamber
The splash water test is one of the non-destructive test methods. It is used to verify the tightness. The different requirements against the ingress of water are divided into protection classes from IPX0 to IPX9. With our splash water test chamber, we are able to test protection classes IPX1 to IPX6 in accordance with DIN EN 60529.
Dust Test Chamber
Dust testing is one of the non-destructive test methods. It is used to verify dust tightness. The requirements against the ingress of solid foreign bodies are divided into protection classes from IP0X to IP6X. With our dust test chamber, we are able to test protection ratings IP5X and IP6X in accordance with DIN EN 60529.
Salt Spray Test Chamber
The salt spray test is a standardized test for evaluating the corrosion resistance of uncoated metals, organic coatings, metallic coatings or chemical or physical surface treatments. With our salt spray test chamber, we are able to carry out corrosion tests in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227 / NSS.
Climate Change Test Chamber
The climate test determines whether a product works in heat, high humidity or extreme cold over a longer period of time. The environmental simulation test shows how the test specimens behave even under extreme climatic conditions. With our climatic test chamber, we are able to realize temperature ranges from – 40° C to + 180° C and/or a relative humidity of 10 to 98 % RH.
Universal Testing Machine
With the universal testing machine, we are able to perform strength tests in tension and compression up to max. 50 kN must be tested. The elastic and/or plastic deformation can be determined.
Load Cycle Testing Devices
Any load, even if it is below the static strength of the material, will lead to damage to the material structure. If these stresses occur frequently, they can lead to fatigue failure of the material. We are able to carry out endurance tests under realistic conditions or defined requirements using a wide variety of test devices.
3D Printer
In 3D printing, three-dimensional objects are created layer by layer from different materials. At DIRAK, we are able to use the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) and MJM (Multi Jet Modeling) processes. Plastics and resins are used as materials. We use 3D printing in product development. This allows precise models to be produced quickly and cost-effectively.
